Onsite And In Home Birthday Parties
Our skilled chef instructors bring the party to your chosen venue, complete with complimentary pizza, all the ingredients, cooking tools, and even chef uniforms for the kids. You bring the little chefs, and we’ll take care of the rest! Sit back, relax, and enjoy a stress-free, fun-filled birthday as we handle everything from setup to cleanup. It’s as easy as that!
Nini’s Cooking Academy Birthday Party Offerings
We’re excited to host your child’s special day with our hands-on, fun-filled cooking parties! Here’s what we offer:
Saturday Birthday Parties
- Location: Woodcliff United Church, 5010 Spruce Dr. SW, Calgary, AB T3C 3B2 (near Sarcee Trail and Bow Trail SW)
- Time Options: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Sunday Birthday Parties
Location: Your home or chosen venue
- How to Book: Please call us at 587-797-4545 to confirm availability before scheduling Sunday parties.
- Time Options: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
What to Expect
- Preparation: For Friday, and Sunday parties at your home or chosen location, our 1–2 chef instructors will arrive 30 minutes to an hour before the event to set up. For Saturdays, you should arrive 5-10 minutes before the start of your birthday party.
- Cooking Time: The party lasts 1–2 hours, depending on the recipe and skill level of participants. Kids will prepare their complimentary pizza meal under the guidance of our chefs. Kids will make a chosen product for the day which will be taken home. Come with your loot bag for the products made. Product could be donuts, cupcakes etc. See below for a list of birthday products.
- Cake Option: Add a birthday cake for an additional $85. If you’d prefer to bring your own cake, let us know when booking.
- Clean-Up: After the party, the chef will clean up and leave the host and kids to enjoy their creations.
- Special Touches: The birthday celebrant will receive a Niniscooking uniform as a gift from us.
What’s Included
- Exclusive use of the kitchen (for Saturday and Friday parties at Woodcliff United Church).
- All ingredients, tools, uniforms, and pizza except decorations.
- Decorated table settings with partyware if you need us to provide this. Alternatively, we can use yours if preferred upon arrival.
- Water or Juice boxes, party snacks (popcorn), candles, and utensils for all kids participating.
Pricing
- Price includes all kid participants.
- Additional guests are $70 per child.
- Birthday packages available for 10, 15, or 20 participants. See our registration page for details.

- Gratuity is appreciated but optional.
- To make the celebration truly special, we can customize the experience to match your child’s interests.

Booking Policies
- Confirmation of Attendance: Please confirm the number of children attending your party no later than 4 days before the event if the number has changed. Payments for additional attendees should be sent via e-transfer to payments@niniscookingclass.ca, including the birthday date, the celebrant’s name, and the parents’ names in the transfer note. The confirmed number will be the final number you are billed for. If additional children will attend last minute, please notify us as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
- Rescheduling Policy: A minimum of 21 days’ notice is required to reschedule your party. Changes made with less than 21 days’ notice will not be possible. If the party date is changed twice, the deposit will be forfeited.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations will result in a charge of 70% of the total party price.
- Arrivals and Departures: You may arrive up to 10 minutes before your scheduled party time. We encourage the birthday child’s family to stay, enjoy the celebration, and capture special moments with photos. Guest parents are welcome to drop off and pick up their children. If there is another party directly after yours, we kindly ask that guests leave promptly at the end of your party time.

They’ll learn to cook up their creations! At the end of the party, they’ll take home a box of 10 raw dumplings, along with the skills to make them again at home! -

Roll, slice, and create at our Birthday Sushi-Making Party! Kids will master the art of sushi-making, from preparing sushi rice to rolling their very own colorful maki rolls. With a variety of filling options, each participant will customize their rolls and gain the skills to make sushi at home!
Each guest will take home 3-4 deliciously customized maki rolls, a bamboo sushi mat, and a sushi rice recipe card to keep the sushi-making fun rolling long after the party ends. -
